Remedial Massage

Remedial Massage encompasses a wide range of modalities that sit under the umbrella term of Remedial Massage.

Myofascial Release

Myofascial tissues are the tough membranes that wrap, connect and support your muscles.

Myofascial release eases the tension and tightness in specific points within your myofascial tissues called trigger points. Through massage and stretching, pressure on trigger points is reduced to help alleviate pain, provide a greater range of movement, support the parasympathetic nervous system (rest and digest) and improve your posture.

Myofascial Cupping

Myofascial cupping works with negative pressure to pick up and hydrate tissue, breaking up any scar tissue that may be present.

A perfect complement to a remedial massage or myofascial release, it’s great for placing at trigger point points to help treat trigger points that can be otherwise painful to release with traditional techniques.

Myofascial cupping also benefits lymphatic drainage by providing tissue circulation, aiding in detoxification through the lymphatic system.

Holistic Massage

Holistic massage incorporates a system of bodywork that includes Raynor therapeutic massage, which combines six different modalities of massage, with Tesla energy and sound healing therapy. Tesla healing brings the frequency of light in the body into perfect balance. Once the balance of the frequency of light is re-established, healing takes place on all levels; physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual. Sound healing therapy results in deep relaxation and deep tissue massage through sound vibration, which opens, clears, and balances the chakras to release stuck energy. This unique combination encourages the restoration of the body, mind and soul.

Yin Yoga with Sound Therapy

Experience the combination of Yin Yoga & Sound Therapy with Maja Corak.

Allow yourself to be guided into a meditative state with the gentle postures of Yin yoga, breath work, and sound therapy to help relieve tension in the body and bring about a greater sense of relaxation.

Classes are monthly on a Friday evening at the Terry Tyzack Aquatic Centre.
